Anna Lvova (postgraduate, Institute of Information Technologies and Telecommunications, NCFU) has won a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD.
October this year Anna is to travel to the city of Bochum (Germany), where she is going to spend a year working on a project together with researchers from the Ruhr University. The research is to be focused on developing data protection from unauthorized access in wireless optical communication channels, namely, in Li-Fi networks, which may become a perfect alternative to Wi-Fi.
– Anna has earned a cum laude degree in Information Security in Automated Systems, and was actively engaged in research and various contests, forums, and conferences. All this helped her submit a really good application, which, in turn, helped her win the scholarship, – Maria Lapina (Deputy Director for International Activities, Institute of Information Technologies and Telecommunications) was said.
