NCFU Postgraduate Expanding Her Knowledge in India
Anait Tonian (postgraduate, Dept for Foreign History, Political Studies and International Relations, NCFU) joined the India technical & Economic Cooperation Program.
Once she proved successful through the selection stage, she was offered a chance to undergo a diplomacy training course at the Research & Information System for Developing Countries (New Delhi, India), which brought together 30 people from 23 countries. Al the costs related to the training were covered by the Indian party.
For two weeks the participants enjoyed lectures from top professors, diplomats and business people of India, the conclusion to the entire event being special project papers (Tonian A. India and CIS Countries: Cooperation in STI and Role of Science Diplomacy // Southern Perspectives on Science Diplomacy, New Delhi: RIS, 2020. P. 125-129.).
Besides, the participants had meetings with ambassadors of various countries in India and visited some sights of interest including Taj Mahal.
